MSN: alpha version of their new search engine

Scoop: MSN give us a look at the alpha version of their new search engine.

Also, changes to the existing MSN search should happen in the next 24 hours. Changes include: cleaner look and feel, faster download time, ability to search over multiple content sources like news and Encarta, algorithmic search results are now demarcated clearly from sponsored links.

Directories: With the continued decline of DMOZZZ, it's nice to see other directories popping up in this space. One such directory is Blue Find.

No doubt this directory will appeal to search marketers looking for a credible directory link with fast turnaround.
Nice work, John.

Spamtastic: Study finds that most spam is drug related. Sex industry bemused to learn they are *cough* no longer on top.

More spamtastic: Traffic Power, a search engine optimization firm, are generating a lot of attention for all the wrong reasons. Expect collateral damage as many seo firms get tarred with the same brush.
