Tim Bray doesn't like Auto Links. Neither does Paul Boutin at Slate. Nor Scott Granneman at The Register. I'd provide a balanced view, only it's pretty difficult to find anyone who actually likes and uses Auto Links. Even those who defend it in principle, appear to want something else entirely i.e something they are in full control of, not Google.
