The More Things Change The More They Stay The Same
I've spent the last few hours reading through ancient usenet posts.
Illuminating.
It strikes me that the level of internet commentary never changes. People can sound convincing, but turn out to be so wrong, it's painful. In fact, a very high percentage of the speculation I came across had, in retrospect, turned out to be wrong.
Easy in hindsight, of course.
So, it makes you wonder which literate, authoritative posts being made today may cost you serious money and opportunity should you be swayed by them, and which posts will turn you on to the next big thing?
