Scoble laments the fact that content is being "remixed", which is blogger terminology meaning "to take and add value", or, if s/he is really being really honest: "to steal ".
Well, that's the web for you. Unfortunately, the web reduces the value of IP to zero the closer the content gets to appearing public domain, and RSS-ing has always blurred that particular boundary.
Unacceptable, yes. Also inevitable, sadly. And with all the scraping tools available, and blog network positioning going on, it's a situation that is surely going to get much, much worse.
Perhaps the search engines could do a better job of figuring out the true source. Else it makes you wonder why anyone would continue to put any real time and effort into producing crawlable, original, non-brochureware content, a situation which would benefit no one.
