Best Of The Best Of The Best Of The Bestest
Federated Media has released /Tech, which Battelle describes, rather modestly, as the "best of the best voices in technology blogs". Battelle is the chairman of Federated Media. Uh-huh.
I guess one person's best of the best might be another person's tedious bore. Boing Boing? I prefer Threadwatch. GigaOM? I prefer Nicolas Carr. SearchBlog? I prefer Traffick. And so on. And so on. Everyone's list will be different, and that wide variety of choice, and self-selection, is what is great about the blogsphere, no?
/Tech looks like an interesting experiment, and may develop a distinct voice all its' own. At the moment it sounds like an A-list echo chamber.
