No Follow, The Bury Brigade, SEOs Aren't Bad
- Google's Adam Lasnick reportedly doesn't like nofollow, although he clarifies further in the comments. He wishes it wasn't necessary. Which, of course, it isn't.
- The bury brigade at Digg. Danny Sullivan looks at the problem, and, of course, gets buried. The lesson in all this is that good editors matter. No amount of Web 2.0 hyperbole, ideological cuteness or VC funding will change that fact.
- Google Adwords testing yellow backgrounds. Rumours are that the black background initiative was quickly scraped. I may have just made that up.
- If search engines are so clever, why do they want us to do everything for them?
- Some search blog posts are getting WAY too long. Anyone else noticed? Too much information, for me.
- Top 100 alternative search engines. 100? I wonder how many people actually use any of them.
- SEOs aren't all bad, really. A lot of them are very, very smart.
