Well, that's it for me for the year. The sun is blazing, there's cold beer in the fridge and the days are turning lazy. Best wishes to you and yours for the holidays, thanks for reading and sending me stuff - very much appreciated. See you in the new year sometime, once everything that is to drink, has been drunk.

Isn't there always a million things to do? Just look at the state of my lawn....

Froogle on Google: Froogle results are now showing on the top of Google serps.

Why put Froogle (free product feed listings) on top when AdWords are pay-to-play? One wonders how long Froogle will remain free.

Is there a commercial filter being applied to the main results? With information sites more likely to carry AdSense, then one could certainly see the motivation. Whether this is happening, or will happen in future, is pure speculation.

On top of all this, there appears to be another update happening. Googleguy comments "expect more changes in the near future". Never a dull moment.

Just say "Yo!": Article suggests that thou shalt not chase algos, then goes on to explain how the new algo behaves. Hmmm. One persons' "algo chase" is another persons' "best practices", eh. Chris Ridings provides a commentary, for which he will no doubt be sent to his room, without dinner.
