Directory Style Guidelines & Terms

In order to maintain the integrity of our directory, we have a few simple editorial guidelines. Please read these guidelines carefully before submiting.

1) Strictly No Spam:

A listing such as:

Acme Search Marketing Services - Provides pay-per-click bid management and organic optimization services. Get a free site evaluation.

....is fine.

However,

Search Engine Marketing Services Search Optimization Services by Acme - Search Engine Marketing, search engine marketing, search engine optimization, optimisation.

....isn't.

Please don't overuse keywords.

 

2) Word Limits

As a general guideline, use your site name in the link text and keep your description legible. Those who have submitted sites to Yahoo & DMOZ will be familiar with this listing style.

There is a maximum of 8 words for the title and 30 words for the description.

If necessary, the editors will suggest changes, and their editing decision on title and description is final. Please keep the description factual and free of hyperbole.
