Interesting guess at the distribution of PageRank

ClickTracks are looking for beta testers from the SEO world. Usually we avoid PR releases, however their approach to providing stats in context looks interesting. Usability designers should also love this.

It was a public holiday here yesterday, so we were out doing other things. Like mowing lawns.

The on-going guessing game continues as to when/if Google will update this month. Google guy attempted to win a mouse-pad by saying "I think the update will happen when it's ready, and we've finished our normal battery of testing and evaluation", which is just the kind of "direct" answer we've come to expect ;)

Myway.com. Google powered search engine with "no pop-ups, no banners, no kidding". Sponsored listings, however....

And finally today, Iraq pre-empts pre-emptive strike.

Google removes results on it's local search engines for over a hundred sites that might be illegal under French and German law.

Google to online advertisers: stop scaring users. We fully agree - place the user first. Enough already with those damn pop-ups.

Profit problems ahead for Overture, so say executives. However, third-quarter earnings beat analysts' expectations.
